Get SPRA Certified in Saskatchewan

In Saskatchewan, fitness leaders certify through the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA). You can challenge the SPRA Exercise Theory exam for $75 plus tax, written virtually with a proctor, and you need 80% to pass. Worth knowing: if you fail twice, SPRA requires you to take their full Exercise Theory course, so passing early matters. After you pass, you have six months to choose a certification module, and you will need current CPR and First Aid.

Our Saskatchewan course is the prep that gets you to 80% the first time: plain-language theory covering leadership, anatomy, physiology, applied mechanics, training principles, workout design and nutrition, plus 600+ exam-format practice questions.

Who Needs This SPRA Exercise Theory Course?

This course is for anyone in Saskatchewan who wants to become a fitness instructor (personal trainer, group fitness, yoga or pilates instructor, older adult instructor, and more) or get SPRA certified. Exercise Theory is the first step before you choose a certification module.

The SPRA is Saskatchewan's provincial affiliate of Fitness Leadership Canada (formerly the NFLA), a credential recognized across Canada and in many countries around the world.
