Skeletal System
The foundation of your body. Learn everything from the bones to the joints.
The skeletal system forms the foundation of your body, allowing movements and giving it its structure. You are constantly using your bones and joints, from drinking coffee to the Downward-facing Dog Pose to deadlift. Understanding the skeletal system will help you become more in-tune with your body.
If you are curious to know more about your body, gain knowledge of easy movement terminology (like those in the kettlebell workout videos you've been watching), incorporate newfound info into your pilates, training, or yoga session, this course is for you.
Learn movement terminology (like adduction vs. abduction), different types of bones, the bones in your axial and appendicular skeleton, the differences between cartilage, ligament, and tendon, and their functions.
